About Sea Island Golf Club (Seaside Course)

Sea Island Golf Club's main championship course and the primary host of the PGA Tour's RSM Classic, which plays its weekend rounds here. The original Seaside nine, completed by Harry Colt and Charles Alison after Walter Travis's death, opened in 1929; Bobby Jones called it 'one of the very best nine holes I have ever seen.' Tom Fazio combined Seaside with Joe Lee's Marshside nine into the current 18-hole course in 1999.

Club History

Davis Love Golf Learning Center

Davis Love Jr. moved to Sea Island in 1977 to teach; his learning center was the first in the U.S. recognized by the USGA. Its successor, the Golf Performance Center, opened a 17,000 sq ft facility in 2019.
